Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I’m also using some Lawn Fawn stamps for the Lawnscaping back to school challenge. I’m super excited that Tupelo Designs LLC is now carrying Lawn Fawn along with other brands of products that I love. I’ve used the Love you tons stamp set and colored the elephant with copic markers. I also used some of the other Lawn Fawn stamps just match the School theme.

By the time you see this, the challenge will probably be over and they’ll have a New challenge for you to play along. I haven’t participated in a challenge in a while but sometimes it’s fun to participate. I hope you guys enjoy this card and all the supplies I used will be located below if you’d like to check it out. Thank you so much for visiting and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks again 🙂

Gelatos Background and Quick Copic Coloring Tupelo Deisgns LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC.  The stamp set I’ll be using is MFT’s I Knead You stamp set, which consists of kittens/cat images and accessories to go along with it.  This stamp set is really good because you get a a lot of stamps for your money, which is a plus.  I’m also using some Gold and Silver Gelatos to make my own shimmery background.  I purchased the Metallic 15 piece set from them not too while back and since then I’ve only used them once so I decided to use them to make my background.  I already had some collections which I purchased long ago so these gelatos last very long and they have released different sets, which will make collecting easier.  I dry embossed a card stock using one of the embossing folders I had.  I then applied the gelatos on the embossed paper, which will only get color on the embossed/raised area, but I wanted more of a blended look, I blended it out using some semi-dried baby wipe.  These gelatos are water soluable so you can easily watercolor using them.

I cut out a circle, using the MFT’s stitched circle die and stamped out my kitty of my choice onto this Neenah solar white card stock.  I then did some simple Copic coloring and assembled the card together.  For a full step by step, please check out the video which is located up above.  I hope you like this card and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much 🙂

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I’m using the Wplus9 Unforgetable stamp set.  These elephants are super cute and I was very excited to use it.  I am not doing any coloring  today but instead, I stamped one of the elephant out on a design paper and fussy cut it out.  I also used some glitter design paper from my stash and cut 2 cloud border using the Mama elephant border trio die.  If I had the Lawn Fawn’s new Fluffy cloud border die, that would of been perfect for it as well.  I wanted the elephant to look like he was floating in the cloud because of the sentiment I chose out from the stamp set.  I hope you can watch the video up above for a step by step on how I made this card.  I hope you guys like this and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much

Aloha Guys!

Happy Monday, and it’s time for a DT Card for Tupelo Designs LLC.   Stamps set I’ll be using is the Wplus9 Flora Fauna 1 along with my Copic markers.  I’ve mentioned before that Tupelo Designs LC is now carrying Copic markers so I’m super excited!!  I went ahead and stamped out this dogwood flower onto my Neenah Solar White using My favorite things Hybrid licorice black ink.  You can use this ink for alcohol markers and watercolor so it’s a great ink pad to have.  Wplus9 is one of the New collections they are carrying but they are constantly adding more brands all the time.

I made this card simple but I think, the flower really pops and I really like that.  I have a full tutorial up above if you want to see the whole process.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and please subscribe an follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again.  Mahalo 🙂

Coloring Hibiscus with Spectrum Noirs and Some Tips-Tupelo Designs LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC using the Hibiscus stamp set from Designs by Ryn.  I’ll be using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I’ll quickly go over some tips on using your bare rubber stamps without mounting it on Cling foam.  If you are interested in mounting your stamps on the cling foam, I’ll leave a link below where Jane shows the entire process.

These stamps Designs by Ryn are such a high quality red rubber stamps.  They are very deeply etched and detailed, so you won’t have any issues with getting a good crisp image.  I personally like to use a Rock-A-Block when I’m stamping bare rubber stamps.  That’s just my preference and you can play around with different types of block.  There’s a slight learning curve to it but once you get use to them, they are great.

I’ll be coloring most of my flowers off camera but I will share several petals and go over some things.  These flowers took over and hour to color, and I don’t think you want to watch me color for an hour.  You can go ahead and check out the video above for the whole process as well as some tips for using your bare rubber stamps.

I’m trying out couple different tools that I’ve never used before. I show it very briefly since the video was fast forwarded 4x.  One is the Blending tool that Mike, owner of Tupelo Designs LLC actually makes, and the other being the Teflon Bone Folder.  I’ll share more footage of using this tool in another video but I just gotta say, they are fantastic tools.  The blending tool is perfectly shaped so I can grab it very easily and makes blending much easier.  I have wrist problems so this tool is perfect for my hands.  The other tool that i’m fascinated by is the Teflon Bone folder.  I’ve seen others use it, and it was highly recommended by tons of people and now I know the reason why.  They give a really crisp scor and when you burnish the fold, there is no shinny residue.  It also feels good in my hands as well.  I’m super excited about these New tools for me, I’ll share more about it later on.  I hope you like this card and tips I gave was useful.  Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys next time.

Clean and Simple Card Using Ombre Inks Tupelo Designs LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I’ll be using one of the New MFT stamps set I received in my DT Package.  I’ll also be using some Hero Arts Ombre inks for my flowers and if you have not played with these inks, you should definitely try, they are super fun.  The Ombre inks have 3 different shades that goes from light to dark all in one pad so as you can see on my video and from the pictures above, you can create a really fast card to create some unique looks.  I decided to use the Pink to red for my flowers, which gave the flowers some lighter shades as well as the dark all in just one stamping, which I thought was way cool.  I used the outlined image using the Hero Arts Black dye inks to give a distinct line for these flowers but you certainly can use a brighter red to give it more of a muted look.  I did the same for the leaves as well using the Mint to green ink pad.  You can see my Full process on how I made this card on the video up above.  I hope you like this card and video and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  I’ll leave all the supplies I used in this card in the information below.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys next time.  Mahalo 🙂

Simple Blending using Zig Clean Colors and Altenew-Tupelo Designs LLC

IMG_8547

IMG_8548

Aloha Guys!

Today i’m doing a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I;m going to share this Simple blending tip using the Zig Clean color real brush markers.  These markers Amazing and I only used 3 colors for these Altenew Bejeweled Butterflies and I used the marker itself to do the blending.  Because these are real brushes thats on the markers, blending it with the brush will not contaminate the markers unlike some of the felt tipped watercolor markers.  That’s what make them Unique.  Even if you have trouble watercoloring or coloring in general, you’ll find these easy to use.  These markers are highly pigmented so you don’t need much to create beautiful colors and they blend very easily.  I hope this video helps you out a little and helps you decide if you were interested in these markers.  These markers are sold in a lot of different sets as well as individually so you can customize your own color pallet.  I thank you guys so much for visiting and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much.  Please check out my other videos on my Youtube channel as well.  Thank you so much 🙂

Tupelo Design LLC DT Card Using Part of the DT Package

Tupelo 1

Tupelo 2

Tupelo 3

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing with you this card I made for Tupelo Designs LLC’s DT Card Using part of the DT Package I received.  From the DT package, I’m using the New Penny Black Blips Bakground stamp set, which has these really Unique design to it along with the New Waffle Flower Pointed Petal Chalk ink.  This ink pad holds 8 different colors in one, which I think it’s a real bargain.  I’m also using some other products that I purchased including the New Penny Black’s clear Efflorescence stamp set, MFT In and Out Diagnal stitched rectangle die, Spectrum Aqua Primary set, Paper Artsy’s Treasure gold, the New wood veneer’s from Fundamentals and some other items as well.

I first wanted to create a background pattern using the Penny Black’s Blips stamp set and the Waffle flower ink pad.  In my opinion, Background stamps are one of the Must haves because you can easily make your own background papers with it.  I used 3 of the colors from the Waffle flower ink pad and added some colors to the background stamp to create my background.  It’s a great way to get more out of your stamps.

My Focal image is from the Penny Black Efflorescence.  This stamp is one of my favorites because these flowers are so fun to color and you can use so many different mediums to color it.  These stamps are a perfect addition if you love to color.  Today’s medium I’ll be using with the flower is the Spectrum Aquas.  Spectrum Aquas come in 4 different sets and I only have the Primary’s so thats what I’ll be using today.  I’ll also show you couple tips and tricks to color using your ink pads as well.  I’ve put together a Video Tutorial which will go over how I made this card.  I hope you enjoy watching the video and all the supplies I used on this card will be listed below.  I thank you guys so much for visiting and please press the subscribe and follow button for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much and Mahalo 🙂
