Sonnet Studio Watercolors and Simple Cards

Hi Guys!

Today I’m taking a look at these Sonnet Studio Watercolours and made some cards using them. It’s been awhile since I’ve made cards so I thought I’ll make something simple. I really enjoy these watercolors, they are very bright and vivid. Perfect for my card making and journals. I hope you found this helpful. Please subscribe, comment and share, if you enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you back soon 🙂

My Life Update and My Health Status

Hi Guys!

I hope everyone’s having a fantastic day, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything on my channel. Today, I quickly wanted to answer some of the questions as to why I’ve been MIA for so long. I’ve had some health issues that started around 3 months ago when I hurt myself unexpectedly and as the recovery period took longer and longer, I fell into a deep slump.
One of the reason for this is because I suffer from Chronic pain issues, which hit me unexpectedly about 3 years ago. I’ve had 2 major surgeries in the past and I was bedridden for about a year. During that time, I found myself in deep depression and I was struggling on a day to day basis. That’s when I decided to make my Youtube channel, which helped me out of that darkness. When I hurt myself several months back, I was once again bedridden. I felt like my life hit the rewind button and I was once again back at my darkest time.
Those of you that struggle with any type of health conditions may understand that it doesn’t just effect your physical state but it also interferes with your mental state. I really needed to get away from it all and find myself again. I had no idea how long it was going to take but it was something I needed to do. Luckily, it didn’t take too long and now I’m back to my old self again, which I am truly thankful for.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you that kept me in your prayers, which gave me the strength to find myself again!
Now that I’m back, I’ll continue to share my inspirations and pay back all the inspirations you have given me 🙂 Thank you so much and much hugs to all of you. Love you guys and I’ll see you back shortly 🙂

Just A FYI-My Health Status

Aloha Guys!

I just wanted to give you guys some information regarding my health issues I’m currently having. I know it’s been a long time since I made a video and you may be curious of what’s going on.

Well, I’ve been bed ridden for over 2 weeks going on 3 and expected to stay that way for at least another 3 weeks! Which sucks big time 😦 I’m currently in a lot of pain and I can’t sit or stand for a long time, which make it very difficult to film a video. I’m at home in my bed and the Dr. said if I don’t move around too much maybe I’ll heal within 3 weeks, otherwise it’ll take longer! How can I not move around? So filming is out of the question unless I figure out a way to film on my bed, lol.

I’ve had 2 Major surgeries several years ago in my abdominal area, one was emergency surgery because I had internal bleeding. I had my 2nd surgery in California and I was bed ridden for nearly a year recovering, because I had to have both surgeries right after the other. I fell into a very deep depression during that time! Along with my 3 C-setions with my kids, that’s 5 surgeries total so I have a lot of scar tissues. I had to have a full hysterectomy at the end, which sucks but it it had to be done.

I’ve hurt/tore those scar tissues and because it’s close to my groin area it’s really hard to heal, which is why it’s taking FOREVER!! I’m practically loosing my mind!!

Anyways, to make the story short that’s the reason why you’re not seeing any New videos and you won’t be seeing any in the near future. I do have couple in my archives so I’ll share that soon but I wanted you guys to know, the reason behind it. I apologize to all my New subbies as well as my current subbies, please be patient and hopefully I’ll get back to normal real soon! Crossing my fingers!! I miss you guys tremendously and I appreciate all the comforting words, it REALLY means a lot!! It’s really depressing actually to just lie in bed all day 😦

That’s the story and the update so I hope to see you guys real soon! I have over 300 uploaded videos on my Channel, so hopefully that’ll keep you occupied for now 😉 Thank you so much for sticking with me during this process and again I want to thank all of you!! Love you guys and much much hugs to you all ❤

Love,
Joyce

Aloha Guys! Today I’m doing some experimenting on solid stamping with Altenew’s crisp ink pads. At first I wasn’t getting a crisp impression, like I normally do so it turned out to be an experiment 🙂 I hope you found this helpful and see you back soon 🙂

Finishing Up My Journal-Part 2

Aloha Guys!

Here is another pre-recorded video for Tupelo Designs LLC and I want to post this now since I’m no longer on their DT.  I resigned from the DT and if you read my other post, you’re probably aware of this.

This was the journal background I made using the Lindy’s stamp gang sprays.  I really like how the background turned out so I decided to finish it.  I hope you enjoyed this video and please like, share and subscribe 🙂  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I’ll see you very shortly 🙂

Mini Album Series 5-Matchbook, Envelops and Tags

Aloha Guys!

Today I have part 5 of my Mini Album series and this is a Pre-recorded video so I’m posting it but I am no longer on the DT for Tupelo Designs LLC.  It’s funny I’m saying this because not too long ago, I made an announcement that I’ll be their product rep.  Anyways, I’ve resigned from the DT and this specific project was for Tupelo Designs LLC so I’m not quite sure if I’ll continue on.  If you’d like me to continue, just leave me a comment and if I have many requests to continue, I sure can 🙂

In this video I’ll show you how to make a Matchbook style of tags for our Belly band.  I’ll also go over how you can make your own envelope as well as some tags.  I hope you like this video and if you did please like, share and follow 🙂  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you back soon 🙂

Aloha Guys!

Today I have this super adorable card for you using Gerda Steiner Designs brand new stamp set Happy Hoppy along with Neenah Linen card stock from PaperTemptress.  Gerda released several sets of brand new stamp sets and they are to die for!  Super cute, as always!!  I’m using one of them today and I wanted to make this bunny fly over the clouds holding his balloons.  I’ve again used the Clarity Brushes, my newest Obsession, lol. along with the Neenah Linen card stock I love so much.  I’ve used this card stock in particular because of it’s texture as well as it’s ability to hold water.  I’ve watercolor the bunny using some distress markers and you’ll see how easily it blends on this card stock 🙂  I hope you like this video and if you did, please hit the subscribe button as well as the like button.  This helps me to know, you liked this video. Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you next time 🙂
