Wplus9 Many Thanks Card Using SSS Ink Pads

Hi Everyone!

It’s been a while since I posted since I’m unable to make videos at this time, due to my health condition. I’ve been be ridden, going on 3 weeks but it feels like 3 months. Ugh!! Totally sucks, big time. I want to thank you so much for all your comforting words, it truly means a world to me 🙂 Hopefully I’ll recover soon and I can start to share my creations with all of you. Thank you so much for being so patient through this process and I hope to see you back soon 🙂 I miss you guys so much. Hugs ❤

This video I'm posting today was made in July of 2015 and during that time, I wasn't able to post this so I thought I'd share them today. I actually thought I had erased it but it was still in my archives. I really love the bright colors and I love the way it turned out. I'm not even sure if this stamp set is available anymore but you certainly can use other stamps using this same technique. There are many gorgeous stamp sets available, which will work fine. I hope you enjoy this video and hopefully I'll see you guys real soon. Thank you so much as always, I truly appreciate all your friendship. Have a fantastic day 🙂 Hugs ❤

Coloring Hibiscus with Spectrum Noirs and Some Tips-Tupelo Designs LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC using the Hibiscus stamp set from Designs by Ryn.  I’ll be using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I’ll quickly go over some tips on using your bare rubber stamps without mounting it on Cling foam.  If you are interested in mounting your stamps on the cling foam, I’ll leave a link below where Jane shows the entire process.

These stamps Designs by Ryn are such a high quality red rubber stamps.  They are very deeply etched and detailed, so you won’t have any issues with getting a good crisp image.  I personally like to use a Rock-A-Block when I’m stamping bare rubber stamps.  That’s just my preference and you can play around with different types of block.  There’s a slight learning curve to it but once you get use to them, they are great.

I’ll be coloring most of my flowers off camera but I will share several petals and go over some things.  These flowers took over and hour to color, and I don’t think you want to watch me color for an hour.  You can go ahead and check out the video above for the whole process as well as some tips for using your bare rubber stamps.

I’m trying out couple different tools that I’ve never used before. I show it very briefly since the video was fast forwarded 4x.  One is the Blending tool that Mike, owner of Tupelo Designs LLC actually makes, and the other being the Teflon Bone Folder.  I’ll share more footage of using this tool in another video but I just gotta say, they are fantastic tools.  The blending tool is perfectly shaped so I can grab it very easily and makes blending much easier.  I have wrist problems so this tool is perfect for my hands.  The other tool that i’m fascinated by is the Teflon Bone folder.  I’ve seen others use it, and it was highly recommended by tons of people and now I know the reason why.  They give a really crisp scor and when you burnish the fold, there is no shinny residue.  It also feels good in my hands as well.  I’m super excited about these New tools for me, I’ll share more about it later on.  I hope you like this card and tips I gave was useful.  Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys next time.

Aloha Guys!  Today I’m making a DT project for Tupelo Designs LLC and I decided to make an Art journal using the page we created with the Dylusion’s Paints.  I love the vibrancy of the colors and I didn’t want it to go to waste so I wanted to use it for todays project.  i’m also using the Stampendous Jumbo Butterflies stamp set, which is one of my favorite butterfly stamps.  I’m also using the Indigo Blu Stamp as well.  This stamps set is also very beautiful.  So many images in one set, you can do a lot of projects with them.  I  played with New mediums that I’ve never used before, which was super fun.  I do have a Full tutorial above if you’d like to see the entire process of how I made this page.  Very simple but I love the colors.  I thank you guys so much for visiting my channel and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  I’m really starting to get into this mixed media thing and I’m sure i’ll make another real soon.  All the supplies I used on this page will be listed in the description below.  Thank you guys so much and I hope to catch you next time.  Mahalo

Dylusions Paints Review

Dylusions

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m playing around with these New Dylusions Paints that I received as a DT Package from Tupelo Designs LLC.  They were generous enough to send me these as a DT package which I am super thankful for.  I have been eyeing these out ever since it was released at CHA.  This paint was demonstrated  at CHA by Dyan Reaveley and according to her, they were super easy to use and Anyone can use these very easily which was right up my alley since I’m not too familiar with working with paints.  As you guys know, I make a lot of cards and I use mostly translucent mediums to color my stamped images so the lines will show through so I don’t use many Opaque or Semi-opaque mediums.  Paints are a little intimidating for me, it’s something I’mnot too familiar with.  Lately though, I’ve been very intrigued with mixed media and Art journals and I have been collecting a lot of things for it but I’ve only done 1 Art journal, lol.  It is kind of scary trying something new, especially on camera.  So I was super excited about these paints since she made it look so easy to use.  The colors are so vibrant and bright so it was super fun playing with them.

First thing I did was to swatch out my colors to see if the colors change after it dries and there was no change in the vibrancy of the color.  I do these product focuses so that you guys can see how a product is hands on.  When a new product launches in the market, I have lots of questions regarding the product.  I personally want to see them used so that I can make a decision whether or not the product is for me.  That is the reason why I do these product focuses.  I did make a video using these paints in many different ways.  Some things worked and some things didn’t, lol.  Even though it may not be a perfect video, I still hope you guys enjoy them.  I have a full supply list below if you think this paint is something you want to invest in.  In my opinion, these paints were very easy to use, just as Dyan said they would be.  The paint jar is really a good size and you definitely get a lot of paint in it.  Thank you so much for visiting and Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks so much, Mahalo

Altenew Stamp and Ken Oliver Color Burst Tupelo Designs LLC

Color burst 1

Color burst 2

Color burst 3

Aloha Guys!

Today I want to share a Card I made for Tupelo Designs LLC’s DT Card using the Ken Oliver Color Bursts and the Altenew Painted Poppies stamp set.  This was suppose to be a super quick card but I had so much fun with it the video became 30 min long.  This is one of the longest video that I made simply because it was kind of real time.  I knew that these color bursts had a very intense vibrant color but I didn’t realize it was this intense.  I LOVE them!!!  This is an Amazing product and a big bang for your buck.  This is a small bottle but it’s jam packed with pigment powders and when you add the water to it, it becomes these very intense colors.  You really only need a small specs of it and that’ll be more than enough to create the colors.  Even though the color is labeled on the front as one color, it actually has some mixtures of complimenting colors.  I really really loved using these and I’m sure I’ll be using them again very shortly.  Even though the video is a little long, you will experience how vibrant and vivid these color bursts can be.  Thank you so much for visiting and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much!
