DIY Hot Glue Stencils (Pre-recorded)

It’s been a Long time!! This is ANOTHER Pre-recorded video before I got hurt. I have one more video left, that was recorded while back and I’m trying to space them out so you guys don’t forget me, lol. 😉  I miss you guys sooooo much and I appreciate all of your comforting words!!

This is week 3 or 4 (I lost count) since I’ve been bed ridden and the Dr. says to expect at least 3 more weeks or more before I’ll be fully functional.  Some days are better than others but and the pain just doesn’t seem to go away!  Sucks Big Time!!!   I try to keep myself occupied, when I’m able to but most of the time I’m watching Youtube videos, lol.  I watched soooo many, I’m running out of things to watch, LOL.  What do I do when I’m able to sit up for awhile??  I’ve been coloring in my coloring books, I’ve been trying to make prototypes of Mini abums and I’ve been coffee staining some paper, LOL.  I’ve been watching many videos like I mentioned and one of the thing that intrigued me was Junk Journals!!  I tried to put one together but it’s not easy to find vintage stuff here in Hawaii, especially since I can’t go anywhere.  I’ve tried to order some online but they are not cheap, lol.  It would defeat the purpose of a Junk journal if Im spending $100’s of dollars to buy vintage items….heeeheeeheee 😉  Soooooo, I’ve been doing a lot of coffee staining and since I don’t have the luxury to stand by the oven to bake them.  I’ve been drying them page by page with my heat gun.  Which takes FOREVER!! Lol, but I have lots of time so that’s what I’ve been up to lately.  Someone also asked me for my address because they wanted to  send me a get well card, that’s sooooo sweet 😉  Since I am unable to go downstairs when the mailman comes, I will leave my husbands work address instead.  I forgot who asked me and I’m unable to find the message for some reason, I’ll just leave the address below.  It’ll go directly to his office so it’s the fastest way and I’ll be sure to get it for sure.  I know the mailman leaves mail in our mailbox but sometimes we have mail thieves.  Pretty strange!!  Why would you want someone else’s mail??  Anyways, that’s the scoop for now and I hope you enjoy this quick video.  Love you guys and miss you guys soooo much!!  Much much hugs ❤  Until next time….Thank you so so much!!

Just A FYI-My Health Status

Aloha Guys!

I just wanted to give you guys some information regarding my health issues I’m currently having. I know it’s been a long time since I made a video and you may be curious of what’s going on.

Well, I’ve been bed ridden for over 2 weeks going on 3 and expected to stay that way for at least another 3 weeks! Which sucks big time 😦 I’m currently in a lot of pain and I can’t sit or stand for a long time, which make it very difficult to film a video. I’m at home in my bed and the Dr. said if I don’t move around too much maybe I’ll heal within 3 weeks, otherwise it’ll take longer! How can I not move around? So filming is out of the question unless I figure out a way to film on my bed, lol.

I’ve had 2 Major surgeries several years ago in my abdominal area, one was emergency surgery because I had internal bleeding. I had my 2nd surgery in California and I was bed ridden for nearly a year recovering, because I had to have both surgeries right after the other. I fell into a very deep depression during that time! Along with my 3 C-setions with my kids, that’s 5 surgeries total so I have a lot of scar tissues. I had to have a full hysterectomy at the end, which sucks but it it had to be done.

I’ve hurt/tore those scar tissues and because it’s close to my groin area it’s really hard to heal, which is why it’s taking FOREVER!! I’m practically loosing my mind!!

Anyways, to make the story short that’s the reason why you’re not seeing any New videos and you won’t be seeing any in the near future. I do have couple in my archives so I’ll share that soon but I wanted you guys to know, the reason behind it. I apologize to all my New subbies as well as my current subbies, please be patient and hopefully I’ll get back to normal real soon! Crossing my fingers!! I miss you guys tremendously and I appreciate all the comforting words, it REALLY means a lot!! It’s really depressing actually to just lie in bed all day 😦

That’s the story and the update so I hope to see you guys real soon! I have over 300 uploaded videos on my Channel, so hopefully that’ll keep you occupied for now 😉 Thank you so much for sticking with me during this process and again I want to thank all of you!! It’s been a while since I posted since I’m unable to make videos at this time, due to my health condition. I’ve been be ridden, going on 3 weeks but it feels like 3 months. Ugh!! Totally sucks, big time. I want to thank you so much for all your comforting words, it truly means a world to me 🙂 Hopefully I’ll recover soon and I can start to share my creations with all of you. This video I'm posting today was made in July of 2015 and during that time, I wasn't able to post this so I thought I'd share them today. I actually thought I had erased it but it was still in my archives. I really love the bright colors and I love the way it turned out. I'm not even sure if this stamp set is available anymore but you certainly can use other stamps using this same technique. There are many gorgeous stamp sets available, which will work fine. Today I’m sharing my project fo Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. This was my March DT Project and I haven’t posted it yet so I thought this was the perfect time, since I haven’t been able to make any videos due to my Health condition 😦 Hopefully I’ll recover fast and will be able to see you guys back shortly. I’ve been bed ridden for the past week and I am still unable to move around, which is very frustrating. It’s nothing serious but it’s just the side effects from my past 2 major surgeries. It’s a pain in the butt, UGH!! I’m currently in a lot of pain so it’s really hard to move around as freely as I want. Good thing I have some videos I have in my archives, so you guys will have something to watch in the meantime 😉 I miss you guys all and hopefully I’ll see you back real soon. I want to thank everyone for all your wonderful support and all the kind words. It really puts a Big smile on my face and I truly appreciate it. Love you all ❤

DIY Custom Collage Tissue Paper with Deli Paper

Ken Oliver’s Liquid Metal Review

Today I’m doing a Review on the Ken Oliver’s New Liquid Metal set, which was a highly requested.  I try my best do fulfill All the Requests if I can.  It may take me sometime but I will eventually get to All the requests so keep the requests coming 😉

I’ve been waiting to try out these Liquid metals as soon as I saw them at CHA 2016 so I was just as curious as you guys since I am a Huge Fan of the Color bursts!  I have the Precious Alloy set, which comes in a 6 pack but I’m pretty sure you can buy them individually.  There are 12 colors to the Liquid metal line and he also released New colors to the Color Bursts line.  I wanted to test these out before I purchased more and according to what I’ve been playing with, I won’t be investing in the rest of the set but it’s personal preference.

I understand these are suppose to be used with the color burst to enhance it with a metallic finish!  However, I wanted to share these colors by themselves, since not everyone owns the color bursts.  If you don’t already own the color bursts, this is what the color looks like on their own.  I found the pigmentation was very subtle but has a fantastic shimmer, which you can see in the video.  The colors don’t move that much when water is added and once it blends with the water, it kind of looses it’s metallic finish.  This is just my opinion so don’t take my word for it.  Try them out for yourself and see if this is something that you’re interested in.  I myself won’t be purchasing the rest of the line, simply because I can get the same result using the $5 Iridescent paints I show in the video.

Faux Gelli Print Using Silicone Baking Mat and Recycled Products

Today I wanted to share this Happy accident and got this super cool Faux gelli printing look, using basically rubbish 🙂  I’m using a cheap Silicone Baking mat with a fun foam under it and used some inexpensive craft paints.  I’m also using some paper stencils, junk mail, bubble wraps, foam stickers, etc… I’ve been having a ball so I hope this was helpful and maybe you can try this out for yourself!  I LOVE IT!! Faux Gelli Print Using Silicone Baking Mat and Recycled Products

Today I wanted to share my Happy Accident! Faux Gelli Printing using a Silicone Baking Mat. Yay!! I accidentally found this out and I’ve been having a blast 🙂 Happy Dance, LOL. I’m using a cheap thin silicone baking mat and I put a fun foam under it to give a little more cushion. I’m using some inexpensive craft paints with basically all junk mail and papers I normally throw away. I plan to use these in my Art journal since I found 2 ginormous boxes full of my older daughters text books and just books in general. We boxed them up to send it to Goodwill but forgot about it until now. Good thing I opened them up before taking them to Goodwill, it was like finding a gold mind, lol. Here I was purchasing books from Goodwill for $2.99-$4.99 when I was sitting on these huge boxes full of books. Yay for me 🙂

This technique is perfect to create some texture and added interest. I’m sure I’m not the first one to think of this but I sure had a blast!! I hope you find this helpful and give it a try if you ever wondered about Gelli printing 🙂
