This is the Last video that I recorded before I hurt myself. I have been having so much fun with Deli Paper and it sucks that I can’t play with them more, lol. Deli Paper is Awesome!! This is like a Treasure for me because I had such a hard time getting a hold of these. LOVE THEM!! I’m playing with some acrylic paints as well as some diluted india ink. Today I’m doing a Review on the Ken Oliver’s New Liquid Metal set, which was a highly requested. I try my best do fulfill All the Requests if I can. It may take me sometime but I will eventually get to All the requests so keep the requests coming 😉
I’ve been waiting to try out these Liquid metals as soon as I saw them at CHA 2016 so I was just as curious as you guys since I am a Huge Fan of the Color bursts! I have the Precious Alloy set, which comes in a 6 pack but I’m pretty sure you can buy them individually. There are 12 colors to the Liquid metal line and he also released New colors to the Color Bursts line. I wanted to test these out before I purchased more and according to what I’ve been playing with, I won’t be investing in the rest of the set but it’s personal preference.
I understand these are suppose to be used with the color burst to enhance it with a metallic finish! However, I wanted to share these colors by themselves, since not everyone owns the color bursts. If you don’t already own the color bursts, this is what the color looks like on their own. I found the pigmentation was very subtle but has a fantastic shimmer, which you can see in the video. The colors don’t move that much when water is added and once it blends with the water, it kind of looses it’s metallic finish. This is just my opinion so don’t take my word for it. Try them out for yourself and see if this is something that you’re interested in. I myself won’t be purchasing the rest of the line, simply because I can get the same result using the $5 Iridescent paints I show in the video.
