Aloha Guys!

Today I’m doing a Review on the Ken Oliver’s New Liquid Metal set, which was a highly requested.  I try my best do fulfill All the Requests if I can.  It may take me sometime but I will eventually get to All the requests so keep the requests coming 😉

I’ve been waiting to try out these Liquid metals as soon as I saw them at CHA 2016 so I was just as curious as you guys since I am a Huge Fan of the Color bursts!  I have the Precious Alloy set, which comes in a 6 pack but I’m pretty sure you can buy them individually.  There are 12 colors to the Liquid metal line and he also released New colors to the Color Bursts line.  I wanted to test these out before I purchased more and according to what I’ve been playing with, I won’t be investing in the rest of the set but it’s personal preference.

I understand these are suppose to be used with the color burst to enhance it with a metallic finish!  However, I wanted to share these colors by themselves, since not everyone owns the color bursts.  If you don’t already own the color bursts, this is what the color looks like on their own.  I found the pigmentation was very subtle but has a fantastic shimmer, which you can see in the video.  The colors don’t move that much when water is added and once it blends with the water, it kind of looses it’s metallic finish.  This is just my opinion so don’t take my word for it.  Try them out for yourself and see if this is something that you’re interested in.  I myself won’t be purchasing the rest of the line, simply because I can get the same result using the $5 Iridescent paints I show in the video.

I hope you found this helpful.  If you did, please Subscribe, Share and Like 🙂  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I’ll see you back real soon.  Hugs ❤

Aloha Guys!

Today I have an exciting product share and some tips & tricks along the way.  I have been playing with the Clarity Stencils Brushes!!  These brushes are Amazing!!  I didn’t play with them before hand, we’re playing with them together.  These brushes come in a 4 pack and I think it’s an excellent price for all 4.  I plant to collect one for each color family 🙂  These are a HOT sellers, so if you see them in the store, I highly recommend picking them up!!  I know it’s on Pre-order right now, so it’s  a perfect time to place the order!!

I’ve tested the brushes on different paper and with each paper, it gave a different look.  I’ve used Neenah 110#, Neenah 80#, Watercolor card stock as well as some Glossy card stocks.  I also got a chance to play with the Julie Netting Hair and skin tone watercolor pencils.  I’ve shared how easily these pencils blend in a precious video, and these are amazing watercolor pencils.  The best part is, they are very affordable!!   Love that!!

I hope you like this video and if you have any questions, please leave a comment and I’ll answer as soon as I can.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Don’t forget, there are promotions, sales, Freebies, and a chance to win this Fantastic Custom craft mat!! Thanks and I’ll see  you back soon.

Dylusions Paints Review

Dylusions

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m playing around with these New Dylusions Paints that I received as a DT Package from Tupelo Designs LLC.  They were generous enough to send me these as a DT package which I am super thankful for.  I have been eyeing these out ever since it was released at CHA.  This paint was demonstrated  at CHA by Dyan Reaveley and according to her, they were super easy to use and Anyone can use these very easily which was right up my alley since I’m not too familiar with working with paints.  As you guys know, I make a lot of cards and I use mostly translucent mediums to color my stamped images so the lines will show through so I don’t use many Opaque or Semi-opaque mediums.  Paints are a little intimidating for me, it’s something I’mnot too familiar with.  Lately though, I’ve been very intrigued with mixed media and Art journals and I have been collecting a lot of things for it but I’ve only done 1 Art journal, lol.  It is kind of scary trying something new, especially on camera.  So I was super excited about these paints since she made it look so easy to use.  The colors are so vibrant and bright so it was super fun playing with them.

First thing I did was to swatch out my colors to see if the colors change after it dries and there was no change in the vibrancy of the color.  I do these product focuses so that you guys can see how a product is hands on.  When a new product launches in the market, I have lots of questions regarding the product.  I personally want to see them used so that I can make a decision whether or not the product is for me.  That is the reason why I do these product focuses.  I did make a video using these paints in many different ways.  Some things worked and some things didn’t, lol.  Even though it may not be a perfect video, I still hope you guys enjoy them.  I have a full supply list below if you think this paint is something you want to invest in.  In my opinion, these paints were very easy to use, just as Dyan said they would be.  The paint jar is really a good size and you definitely get a lot of paint in it.  Thank you so much for visiting and Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks so much, Mahalo
