Aloha Guys!

Today is my very first DT project for Paper Temptress and I’m super excited and a little nervous at the same time.  I’ll be posting for Paper Temptress every other Monday so please check back often to see all the projects.  I’ve made a very Clean and Simple card to showcase the texture and shimmer, on these card stocks.  I’m using the Coral Mica Metallic and Cordovan Leather card stocks today.  The shimmer that this card stock gives is truly amazing and the leather like card stock is something I’ve never seen before.  I used a inlayed die technique today to make this simple card.  I have a full tutorial up above if you want to see a step by step on how I made this card. Also, please check out the paper temptress blog for more inspirations from the Fantastic DT members.  I hope you like this card and I’ll leave all the links below if you’d like to check them out.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you guys next time.  Thanks again 🙂

Aloha Guys! Today I’m introducing the Brand New stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.  This is such a cute stamp set with many adorable Squirrel images, you can use for all different occasions.  I love the fact that Gerda always adds these adorable small stamps so that you can create a scenery if you’d like.  For my card today, I’m using this squirrel hanging upside down on a tree.  I think he’s super cute and I stamped him out onto Neenah solar white card stock and cut the circle using MFT’s stitched circle die.  I stamped him out using the MFT’s Hybrid licorice black ink and colored using my Shinhantouch Twin Markers.  For a full step by step on how I made this card, please watch the video up above.  This stamp will be Available for purchase on August 12th.  Please also visit the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog for all other  designs made by the Design Team.  I hope you like this card and I can’t wait to see what you create with this stamp set.  Thank you so much for stopping by and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again 🙂 http://www.gerdasteinerdesigns.blogspot.com — inlinkz code start –>

Aloha Guys!

Today i’m making a card using these adorable stamps from Virginia Turtle stamps.  This is a small husband and wife company and they have the most cutest stamps ever.  I’m using these sushi rolls today and I’m coloring them using the Chameleon markers.  Chameleon markers are unlike any other alcohol markers so I really wanted to try them out and I had an opportunity to try out these 5 set of markers.  They have 20 colors in all but each marker has it’s own mixing chamber what can infuse the markers so you can get multiple tones with just one marker.  After playing around with these for a while, I wanted to make a card and this stamp set was a perfect stamp set to try out these markers.  I colored each of the sushi rolls in all 5 colors and i hope you can see how these markers work.  I personally like these markers and I think it’s a very unique design.  I had a lot of fun making this card so I hope you enjoyed it.  Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again.  For all the supplies I used on this card can be found in the description below.  Thanks again

Aloha Guys!

Today I made a card for Through The Craft Room Door’s Anything goes Challenge of the week of August 4th, sponsored by Paper Temptress.  Paper Temptress carries the most Beautiful, High quality paper for all your paper crafting needs.  I was very impressed with the Quality and the card stocks, and I had a hard time choosing which ones I was going to use for this card.  I’ve worked with many different Types and brands of card stocks but these card stocks blew me away.  The beauty of the shimmer and shine is absolutely Gorgeous!!

I kind of go over and share some of these card stocks, just so that you can get a visual of the shimmer and shine.  I chose out 2 vellum pieces, which by the way are very thick and I chose 2 of the Screenprint design papers.  This is the first time I’ve seen these Hambly Screenprint paper.  I used a Hexagon punch from Stampin Up and punched out hexagons.  I’m using them to make my own pattern paper so I can use several designs at the same time.  I finish off with a gold thread and some gold translucent sequins, just to give a little more interest.  I have a full tutorial of the process up above if you’re interested.  For all the supplies I used on this card and for more information, please visit the link below.  Join us in this Awesome challenge to win some fabulous prizes by the Paper Temptress.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you guys next time.  Thanks again

Gelatos Background and Quick Copic Coloring Tupelo Deisgns LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a DT card for Tupelo Designs LLC.  The stamp set I’ll be using is MFT’s I Knead You stamp set, which consists of kittens/cat images and accessories to go along with it.  This stamp set is really good because you get a a lot of stamps for your money, which is a plus.  I’m also using some Gold and Silver Gelatos to make my own shimmery background.  I purchased the Metallic 15 piece set from them not too while back and since then I’ve only used them once so I decided to use them to make my background.  I already had some collections which I purchased long ago so these gelatos last very long and they have released different sets, which will make collecting easier.  I dry embossed a card stock using one of the embossing folders I had.  I then applied the gelatos on the embossed paper, which will only get color on the embossed/raised area, but I wanted more of a blended look, I blended it out using some semi-dried baby wipe.  These gelatos are water soluable so you can easily watercolor using them.

I cut out a circle, using the MFT’s stitched circle die and stamped out my kitty of my choice onto this Neenah solar white card stock.  I then did some simple Copic coloring and assembled the card together.  For a full step by step, please check out the video which is located up above.  I hope you like this card and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much 🙂

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I’m using the Wplus9 Unforgetable stamp set.  These elephants are super cute and I was very excited to use it.  I am not doing any coloring  today but instead, I stamped one of the elephant out on a design paper and fussy cut it out.  I also used some glitter design paper from my stash and cut 2 cloud border using the Mama elephant border trio die.  If I had the Lawn Fawn’s new Fluffy cloud border die, that would of been perfect for it as well.  I wanted the elephant to look like he was floating in the cloud because of the sentiment I chose out from the stamp set.  I hope you can watch the video up above for a step by step on how I made this card.  I hope you guys like this and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making this Thank Ewe card using Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New stamp set called How Are Ewe.  I love all the adorable images that this stamp set has to offer and super cute sentiments to go along with it, making this perfect for all types of occasions.  I created a simple scenery for my sheep and colored it using my copic markers.  I tried to make little curls for the sheeps fur to make it look a little more realistic.  I think it adds some texture to it and I like the way it turned out.  For a full step by step process, you can watch the video link up above.  You can also visit Gerda Steiner Designs Blog to see all the cards that the DT has made, and I’ll leave the link below.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I hope to catch you next time.  Thank you so much 🙂

Aloha Guys!

Happy Monday, and it’s time for a DT Card for Tupelo Designs LLC.   Stamps set I’ll be using is the Wplus9 Flora Fauna 1 along with my Copic markers.  I’ve mentioned before that Tupelo Designs LC is now carrying Copic markers so I’m super excited!!  I went ahead and stamped out this dogwood flower onto my Neenah Solar White using My favorite things Hybrid licorice black ink.  You can use this ink for alcohol markers and watercolor so it’s a great ink pad to have.  Wplus9 is one of the New collections they are carrying but they are constantly adding more brands all the time.

I made this card simple but I think, the flower really pops and I really like that.  I have a full tutorial up above if you want to see the whole process.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and please subscribe an follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again.  Mahalo 🙂

Digi’s For Debbie Fundraiser Blog Hop

IMG_8737

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m participating in the Digi’s for Debbie Fundraiser Blog Hop along with some Fabulous designer at Though the Craft Room Door.  Recently, we learned that Mrs. Debbie Lynch, the beautiful and loving mother of Heather Dennis, owner of Fresh Brewed Designs, was diagnosed with a rare form of uterine cancer. As most of you may know, cancer related medical costs can be quite expensive, and Mrs. Debbie currently has no medical insurance, which makes the cost significantly higher. Therefore, we have decided to help raise enough money to cover these medical expenses, as well as aftercare expenses, by creating a digi shop. All the proceeds of the Digis for Debbie Fundraiser Shop and the Fresh Brewed Designs Store will go directly to Mrs. Debbie to fund her lifesaving surgery and the aftercare necessary to bring her back to wellness. Furthermore, Heather has created a Give Forward account to assist her mother. If you would like to help, please stop by the Digis for Debbie Fundraiser Shop, the Fresh Brewed Designs Store, and/or the Give Forward Account. For those of you who are not able to contribute monetarily, we would love for you to add Mrs. Debbie to your prayer list. If there is one thing we know, prayers can work miracles that money cannot and healing and wellness is what we are praying to receive.

The hop launches today, Tuesday, July 14th on the Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog, and will run until Tuesday, July 28th @ 11:59 PM Eastern Time. All participants can be found in the linkies section of *this post on the Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog, and we would love to have you join us! We do ask that you use a digi from the Digis for Debbie Fundraiser Shop or the Fresh Brewed Designs Store, and the theme is Anything Goes, and you can enter as often as you would like. Two prize packages will be awarded, one prize for a digi purchaser and one prize for a blog hop participant. Winners will be chosen on Saturday, August 1st. The prizes will consist of stamps, papers, ribbon, embellishments, etc.; plus, some random prizes will be offered by some generous blog hop participants along the hop.

Thank you for dropping by and for helping us with our fundraising efforts; and again, we ask that you keep Mrs. Debbie in your prayers. Have a wonderful Tuesday, crafty friends! We look forward to admiring your creations! 🙂

Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #18 Using my Misti

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a card for Your Next Stamp’s Sketch Challenge #18.  I put the picture of the sketch up above and this is what I came up with.  I’ll put the link of the challenge below if you want to participate in this challenge.  I decided to use this Silly Monster stamp set, I adore these monsters on this stamp.  They are super cute!!  I decided to use 1 of the monsters with the multiple eyes and I wanted to make a border of the sentiment, All eyes on you.. on both sides of this rectangle panel.  I cut the stitched rectangle out using the Lawn Fawn’s Large stitch rectangle die, which will cover the entire front of my A2 size card base.  I marked a link down on both sides using my pencils and used my Misti to stamp the sentiment all along the side.  I stamped each sentiment couple times using Momento Tuxedo black ink pad.  Misti is a great tool when you want to line things up or stamp it multiple times.  I also stamped out the monster using the same ink pad and colored it using my Shinhan Touch Brush markers.  I cut a blue design paper slightly smaller on the sides so that we can see the sentiments that was stamped along the side.  I have a full video tutorial up above if you want to see the step by step on how I created this card.  I wanted to add goggly eyes on this monster, and I originally wanted the eye balls in all different color but they were too big.  So instead, I added 2 color googly eyes and 2 small black googly eyes.  I had a lot of fun making this card and I’ll definitely be using this stamp set again in the near future.  I’ll also link all the supplies I used on this card below for you to check out.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys back next time.  Please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again
