Today I made a card for Through The Craft Room Door’s Anything goes Challenge of the week of August 4th, sponsored by Paper Temptress. Paper Temptress carries the most Beautiful, High quality paper for all your paper crafting needs. I was very impressed with the Quality and the card stocks, and I had a hard time choosing which ones I was going to use for this card. I’ve worked with many different Types and brands of card stocks but these card stocks blew me away. The beauty of the shimmer and shine is absolutely Gorgeous!!
I kind of go over and share some of these card stocks, just so that you can get a visual of the shimmer and shine. I chose out 2 vellum pieces, which by the way are very thick and I chose 2 of the Screenprint design papers. This is the first time I’ve seen these Hambly Screenprint paper. I used a Hexagon punch from Stampin Up and punched out hexagons. I’m using them to make my own pattern paper so I can use several designs at the same time. I finish off with a gold thread and some gold translucent sequins, just to give a little more interest. I have a full tutorial of the process up above if you’re interested.
