Aloha Guys! Today I’m sharing a card I made for Lawscaping challenge #91. The challenge was to use pattern papers. I personally don’t own any Lawn Fawn’s pattern paper packs even though I have tons of their stamps. I prefer to make my own design and I have way too many 12×12 stacks of paper. So I just found some bright patterned paper from my stash and made a card base with a yellow polka dot paper. I’m also going to paper piece practically everything on this card. I did cut out 2 hills using lawn fawn’s stitched hillside borders and dry embossed it using alterations embossing folder and distressed it with vintage photo to bring out the effect. I stamped out 3 trees from critters in the forest on this shimmery green textured card stock. It kind of looks like green leather. I also picked a small 6×6 wood grained paper and stamped out the logs and the tree stumps. For the raccoon, I colored him using my copics. I fussy cut everything out and put the pieces together using my Stampin Up 2 way glue pen. I put my scenery I created together and this completes my card. I have a full tutorial for this card on my YouTube channel and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks again! TAWS-BIC Challenge #58

IMG_7158.JPG

Aloha Guys!
Today I’m sharing a card I made for The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge #58. The theme I chose for this card is to replicate a mirror but a shaker mirror. I cut out 5 pieces of rectangles 4 of them being like a frame using Lawn Fawn’s stitched rectangle die. I cut 3 in black and 1 in patterned paper for the frames and 1 in shinny card stock and I didn’t but the centers like I did for the other 4. I used the Stamp set called Ghouly Friend and stamped the mummy, candy corns, pumpkins and the spider web. I used my Scan N Cut to cut the spider web because I wanted it to cut not only the outside but the insides as well. It didn’t completely cut all the centers but it was ok. I just colored the portions that didn’t cut using the American Crafts glittered gray markers. I also cut out a acetate for my shaker card. I got a piece of black cardstock measuring 4″x5 1/4″ and used the Tim Holtz stencil and put embossing paste and let it dry completely and attached it to my A2 size white card base. I attached all 4 of the frames together putting the acetate in between. I colored the mummy with my Shinhan touch marchers using W1, W3 and the colorless blender and put some Googly eyes on the mummy. For my little pumpkins I colored it and put ultra thick embossing powder to give a shinny look to it. I placed the candy corns, pumpkins and sequins inside of my shaker part to create my mirror look. On the spider web, I put some cotton balls stretched out to make it look more like a spider web. I attached the mummy and my sentiment, Boo and this finished my card. I have a full tutorial for this card on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out! Thank you so much for visiting and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks again!

Tiddly Ink-Welcome Baby Brennan

IMG_7155.JPG

IMG_7154.JPG

Aloha Guys!
Today I’m sharing a card I made for Tiddly Ink’s Welcome Baby Brennan Card for Melissa. I used a digital image I purchased from their site called Elle. Super cute elephant and I thought this will be a perfect image for this card. I didn’t use the traditional baby boy colors, instead I’m using a very muted color scheme. I’m also trying to use up my design paper so this card design served both purposes. I cut the largest rectangle using Lawn Fawn’s Large stitched rectangle using patterned paper and I also cut another one slightly smaller with the same paper but I’m using the reverse side. I also cut out a cute baby using my Cricut, baby steps. For Elle, I just used a finger dauber and sponged pumice stone to color him because I wanted to show a different way to color besides copic coloring. I colored the 3 heart balloons just using my Stampin up real red marker and put a little highlights with my uniball white gel pen to give more dimension to the balloons. I attached the baby on top of the elephant to make it look like he’s riding him. I put wink of Stella on the balloons and put glossy accents over the balloons. It’s a pretty simple card and k just loved how it turned out. I hope you guys like this card and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. I also gave a full video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out. Thanks for visiting!

IMG_7129.JPG

IMG_7124.JPG

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing this Card set with matching Envelopes using The greeting farms Spooktacular digital stamp set. It comes with 5 images and its s really good price. I made this for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge. I colored the images with simple copic coloring and cut out the photo frames using Stampin Up’s framelits and attached it onto some Halloween design paper I had in my stash. I used the sentiment from one of last year’s Stampin up set and stamped it on black cardstock with my Hero Arts unicorn die ink and cut s shape of a banner. I attached the sentiment over some bulap piece I cut. I made matching envelopes using the left over pieces of the design paper and these are my cards for today. Really simple design and this didn’t take that long to make besides the coloring of the images, I hope you enjoyed this card and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks again. I do have a full tutorial for this card on my youth d channel if you’d like to check it out. It maybe posted later on this week though. Thank you so much and have a great day.

Stampin Up-For All Things!

IMG_7098.JPG

IMG_7099.JPG

Aloha Guys!
Today I have a Stampin Up cards for you. It feels like I haven’t made a Stampin Up card in a while so I thought I should make one. Here I have 2 versions both using the stamp set For All things. I didn’t like the way my background of leaves turned out on one so I rest amped it using second generation stamping. The first one was too dark for the look I was going for but I ended up making another card with it anyway. I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow, tangelo twist and hello honey and cut out the leaves using my Scan N Cut. I then stamped out partial sentiments on each of the leaves. My background paper measures 3 3/4″x5 and I attached it to a mossy Meadow card stock measuring 4×5 1/4″. I attached everything together and this is my card for today. Thank you for visiting and please be sure to subscribe for more inspirations and ideas! I also have a full tutorial on this card on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out! Thanks so much and have a great day.

MFT Sketch Challenge #197

IMG_7149.JPG

IMG_7148.JPG

IMG_7150.JPG Aloha Guys! Today I’m sharing a card I made for MFT Sketch challenge #195. I made a card like this last week for Newton’s Nook’s Challenge but this is sketch for MFT this week so I’m making another one, like it. Today I’m doing paper piecing. I have so many 12×12 papers that I couldn’t even buy New design papers that are coming out because I have no room to put them. 12×12 papers are good for scrapbooking but for card making its just too big so you end up with bunch of scraps left over!! I’m going to try my best to use more design papers even though I Love to make my own:( Anyways…I stamped out these critters from one of their New Release, Cute Critters on several different design papers and embossed it all and fussy cut them out. I also stamped out the word Nuts and used my Scan N Cut to cut multiples and glues them together to give more demention to this word. I cut out a large stitched rectangle using the Lawn Fawn’s large stitched rectangle stacks, which took forever to receive by the way because they were either sold out or back ordered! I cut the rectangle out from wood grain design paper and ran it though my Darice embossing folder to give more texture. I distressed this panel with Tea dye distress ink and adhered it down on a early Expresso card stock measuring 4″x5 1/4″ on a slant since this was the sketch. After doing that I punched a hole on the top left corner using my 1/8″ hole punch and put a hole brad(I forgot the name) and I did the same for the 2 acorns I fussy cut. I’m going to use it as a charm dangling from the corner. I attached that entire panel with foam dots onto an A2 size very vanilla card base. I put all the pieces together and that is my card for today. I hope you like this card and ease subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. I have a full tutorial for this card on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out. Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day.

Halloween Spooks 6-Lawn Fawn Monster Mash

IMG_7086.JPG

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing this Halloween card made with Lawn Fawn’s Monster kid, Cricut A Frightful Affair, and Stampjn up’s retired DSP. I cut out the house and the moon using A frightful affair in black and orange and put some sparkles on it. I used some of the Monster mash images I colored recently using Distress Inks. I stamped them out in Versamark on watercolor paper and embossed it using my Stampin up black embossing powder and fussy cut them out. I used this Retired Stampin up Halloween DSP because it coordinated well with the theme of this card. It’s a pretty simple card and I just Love these monsters:). I hope you like this card and head on over to my YouTube channel for a full tutorial for this card!
