Aloha Guys!
Today I’m sharing a card I made for Tiddly Ink’s Welcome Baby Brennan Card for Melissa. I used a digital image I purchased from their site called Elle. Super cute elephant and I thought this will be a perfect image for this card. I didn’t use the traditional baby boy colors, instead I’m using a very muted color scheme. I’m also trying to use up my design paper so this card design served both purposes. I cut the largest rectangle using Lawn Fawn’s Large stitched rectangle using patterned paper and I also cut another one slightly smaller with the same paper but I’m using the reverse side. I also cut out a cute baby using my Cricut, baby steps. For Elle, I just used a finger dauber and sponged pumice stone to color him because I wanted to show a different way to color besides copic coloring. I colored the 3 heart balloons just using my Stampin up real red marker and put a little highlights with my uniball white gel pen to give more dimension to the balloons. I attached the baby on top of the elephant to make it look like he’s riding him. I put wink of Stella on the balloons and put glossy accents over the balloons. It’s a pretty simple card and k just loved how it turned out. I hope you guys like this card and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. I also gave a full video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out. Thanks for visiting!
