Today I wanted to share with you this Watercolored Swallowtail Stamp set from Stampin Up. I used several different Blues to color after I stamped it out in watercolor paper using stazon. Today I’m sharing favors I made for my mother in laws Birthday Brunch we had today over looking the beach at Kahala Mandarine in Oahu. It was a Beautiful day and we had a really good time. I love love my new found love, Everything Elenor stamp set and I’ve been making so many of this design with my favorite new color Blackberry Bliss. I made a a box using the Envelope punch board to fit 2 large candy bars for the favors and just tied a simple bow with a organza ribbon. Today I wanted to do some Watercoloring using the New In colors. You guessed it! I’m using Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink pads for my Watercoloring. I stamped out the Pleasant Poppies stamp on a watercolor paper using Stazon. I used a small brush and water to color the Poppies. I could of used our Stampin up Aqua Painters but because the flowers are tiny, I decided to use a small paint brush. I Luvvv to color so you’ll be seeing more of coloring. Halloween is right around the corner so I decided to start a Halloween series called Halloween Spooks. For my First card, I made a Mummy Card using last year’s Halloween Stamps. I’m waiting for my order from Stampin Up’s New Holiday Catalog but I’ll probably still use last years collection too. I love last years Halloween stamps, like the one I’m using today. For the oval mummy pattern, I cut out an oval with our Oval Framelit and just tore paper pieces and distress them. After I just glued the on the oval, covering the entire oval. I also used the Tangelo Twist cardstock and ran it through the Spider web embossing folder(Retired) and distress the top and the edges. Today I wanted to share with you this card I made. This was a last minute swap card I tried to make for the class I was attending hosted by Cindy Baughman. I didn’t realize there was a theme to these swaps until it was too late and I didn’t get to finish the card. So I wanted to share what I intended to make. The theme was Blendabilities so I colored the larger flower from Everything Elenor with Rich Razzleberry stamped with Momento Tuxedo black ink. I also colored my sentiment banner as well. Today I’m CASEing a card I learned to make from my upper upline Cindy Baughman’s class. She made this into a gift card holder using the chevron bags but I kinda changed it up a little and made it into this card. I used crumb cake card stock measuring 4″x5 1/4″ and stamped the chevron stamp from the work of art stamp set with crumb cake ink. The shave ice was using the 1 3/8″ circle punch and the petite pennants builder punch and used costal cabana, blushing bride and daffodil delight to make the ice part. The card stock behind the shave ice is soft sky embossed with decorative dots and it measures 2 1/2″x3 1/2″ and the white piece 2 3/4″x3 3/4″. Also used our sequins.
