Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New Stamp Heavy Friends Birthday Invitation

Aloha Guys!

Today I made a card using Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New Clear Stamp Set called Heavy Friends.  I’ve made a Birthday Invitation for my daughters Birthday party.  I LOVE this stamp set.  It has these adorable animals and it also has extra stamps to customize it to your needs.  My favorite is this Elephant stamp that I used for this card.  I love the fact that the elephant has his trunk raised up and you can add the water on top of his trunk or the heart, etc.  There’s so many things you can so with this stamp set.  I colored this image using my Stampin Up ink pad and Tim holts distress pad along with my finger dauber.  Since I was making about 10 of these, I decided to color it fast using the ink pads.  So even if you don’t have alcohol markers, color pencils or other mediums, you can still color your images using just your ink pads.  I also stamped out this fun birthday sentiment from Stampin Up (Retired) that you can make an interactive card.  It was made to use the spinning arrows, almost like a spinner.  I thought that was a fun addition to this card and I placed it above the elephant to make it look like his trunk is pointing to it.  I have a Full tutorial on how I made this card in the link below and I also have some supplies I used in the link below as well.  Thank you so much for stopping by and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thank you so much and Mahalo:0

My First DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

2015/02/img_7626.jpg

2015/02/img_7627.jpg

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing my First DT project fur TupeloDesignsLLC. I’m very excited for this opportunity and you’ll see a lot of projects for them in the future:)
Today I’m doing some Watercoloring using Koi Pocket Field Sketch Box with 24 colors. If you’ve been watching any watercolor tutorials on YouTube for cards, you probably have seen this watercolor set being used a lot. This watercolor set has a Very Intense pigment so it’s very easy to achieve colors on images fast. It’s conveniently packages with a water-brush for those on the go. I’m also using the Stampendous Large Butterflies Trio set and I’m using the largest one. I embossed it using Versamark with Hero Arts White embossing powder onto Tim Holtz Watercolor paper. Which is conveniently cut to a card size and I used my favorite Milwaukee heat gun to melt the powder. For the Watercolored butterflies, I worked on it section by section. I drop some clean water onto where I’m coloring and just dropped in the paint and let the water do all the coloring for me. The colors will only travel Only where the water is. I blended the Blue and the Purple which I think is a perfect combination. I then Splattered some paints using the same colors to give a unified look. For a Full Tutorial on how I made this card, please check out my YouTube channel, which will be listed below. I’ll also leave a supply lust below for your convenience. They also have FREE Shipping on purchases of $65 and over and they also have flat rates shippings depending on the amount you spend. They now have A Loyalty Program where you can accumulate points to spend on your next purchases. Joining is FREE and when you first join, you’ll automatically get 500 points and after that you get 2 point for each dollar you spend. I think that’s Awesome!!  They carry a variety of products for variety of crafters so go check them out. My First Video-Joann.com Haul

Error
This video doesn’t exist

This is my first video I made for YouTube!  I’m not quite sure on how to edit or upload great videos but I’m just posting it as best as I can.  I want to apologize in advance for my poor video quality.  I haven’t figured out why it uploads this way when it comes out clear in my iMovie.  Anyways,  I’m sharing my online purchases from joann.com.  I purchased some Hero Arts stamps, Hero Arts neon daubers and neon re-inkers, Tim Holtz distress glitters and stamp sets, Elizabeth microfine glitter, Scor tape, ect….  I’m really hoping I’ll be posting better videos soon!

Thank you!

Joyce

Stencil, Colored pencil, Saturated canary

20140403-055509.jpg

I used a homemade star stencil for the background and sprayed it with my homemade shimmer spritz. I then used a Stampin up color spritzer and Tim Holtz distress marker and made random sprays above the shimmer sprayed background. The stamped image is from Saturated canary and it was colored using Prisma color pencils. Thr greeting is also from Stampin up Itty bitty banners.
I hope you guys like the card and please come back for more ideas!
Thanks!
