Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New Stamp Playful Kitten Card

IMG_8238

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing a card I made for Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New Clear Stamp set Playful Kitten.  Aren’t these kitties sooo Adorable!! I love them so much so I couldn’t decide which ones to use first.  I finally decided to use the kitty in the suitcase. I stamped it out on a SU’s Design paper and fussy cut it out.  I stamped out another one on a Neenah solar white card stock so that I may color the kitty using my Copic Markers.  I wanted this kitty to have a dark grey stripes so I used W9, W5, W3.  After coloring the image I then fussy cut them out.  For the suitcase, I added some color using the Vintage photo distress ink pad and added foam adhesive on it as well.  I used another SU’s design paper and used the MFT’s fishtail die and adhered it to a brown card stock from my stash.  I wanted this to look like a luggage tag and stamped a cute sentiment that says “Meow you doing”  I embellished the metal on the suitcase using my Gold Sakura belly roll pen along with Ranger black enamel accents.  I do have a Full tutorial on this card so go ahead and check it out.  Also, all the links to the supplies I used will be will be located below for your convenience.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys next time.  Thank you

Altenew Stamp and Ken Oliver Color Burst Tupelo Designs LLC

Color burst 1

Color burst 2

Color burst 3

Aloha Guys!

Today I want to share a Card I made for Tupelo Designs LLC’s DT Card using the Ken Oliver Color Bursts and the Altenew Painted Poppies stamp set.  This was suppose to be a super quick card but I had so much fun with it the video became 30 min long.  This is one of the longest video that I made simply because it was kind of real time.  I knew that these color bursts had a very intense vibrant color but I didn’t realize it was this intense.  I LOVE them!!!  This is an Amazing product and a big bang for your buck.  This is a small bottle but it’s jam packed with pigment powders and when you add the water to it, it becomes these very intense colors.  You really only need a small specs of it and that’ll be more than enough to create the colors.  Even though the color is labeled on the front as one color, it actually has some mixtures of complimenting colors.  I really really loved using these and I’m sure I’ll be using them again very shortly.  Even though the video is a little long, you will experience how vibrant and vivid these color bursts can be.  Thank you so much for visiting and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks so much!

My First Art Journal Page-My Daughter Birthday Theme

Journal 1

IMG_7960IMG_7962

IMG_7959IMG_7961

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m bringing you something a little different.  I made My First art journal page video!!  I was doing some art journals on the side, playing around with different mediums, doing some doodling, watercoloring and things and I finally decided to make one on Film.  This was a big jump for me and something completely different than my normal card making.  What better way to start by Dedicating this page to my 2 daughters that had their Birthdays in March.  My oldest daughter turned 21 and my youngest daughter turned 5.  Those are the numbers you see on the balloons.

I cut out the Balloons and also used 2 cupcakes as my Focal points and I just started the process from there.  Once I decided on my focal images, it was pretty easy from there.  Unlike card making, I didn’t have to worry about the recipient liking the card I made for them so this was more on the Freestyle.  It was so much fun making it that I think I want to make another one already, lol.  By the way, this art journal style was highly inspired by Vicky from Clipncuts.  I’m sure you guys have seen her Amazing work and I’ll leave a link below to her channel below if you want to check it out.  She does Stunning work and I learned a lot from her in both card making and Art journals.

I feel that my art journals are more geared towards card maker style.  What I mean by that is, because I make a lot of cards, my art journals are more on the same level.  I will definitely be making more art journals in the future so stay tuned.  Some of the items I used on this journal is from Tupelo Designs LLC and I will have a supplies listed below.  Thank you so much for visiting my site and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Much Mahalo:)

Altenew Vintage Roses Tripple Layered Card

Vintage rose 1

Vintage rose 2

Vintage rose 3

Aloha Guy!

Today I’m sharing with you guys this card I made for Tupelo Designs LLC using Alte New Vintage Roses.  This is also a layering stamp set that has multiple layers to create this stunning painterly look.  This is an Awesome stamp set to have because it does all the work for you, all you need to do is stamp and there is your masterpiece.  This stamp set was designed really well for stampers made by stampers, so they knew exactly how to create this stunning effect.

Today’s Card is basically layering and Stampining.  I have 3 pieces of white card stock measuring

Large- 3 7/8×5 1/8

Medium 4 1/2×3 1/4

Small 2 5/8×3 5/8

I have 3 pieces of Black card stock

Lage 4x 5 1/4

Medium 4 5/8 x3 3/8

Small 2 3/4×3 3/4

With the 3 White pieces, line it up in the center, making sure that all sides are even.  Then go ahead and stamp out your flowers and the leaves with all the layers.  Press firmly since you’re stamping on 3 card stocks at once.  You’ll need to make a mask for the flowers that will be over lapping as well as for the leaves. After all the stamping is done, I also used the same sentiment from the same set and stamped it out using Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink and embossed it with Clear embossing powder.  I thought the top of the card panel looked empty so I also pulled out the Painted Butterflies set and stamped a small butterfly at the top left corner above the sentiment.

Attach the white card stock the coordinating black card stock leaving about 1/16th of a border all around each piece.  My card base today is Neenah 110lb. Card stock which I cut it as a A2 size card panel.  I attached all the components together, using foam adhesive for the top 2 layers.  I also added some pearls and clear wink of stella for the last finishing touches.  I do have a full Tutorial on my youtube channel if you’d like to check that out.  I hope you enjoyed this card and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  All the supplies I used will be listed below for your convenience. Thank you so much for stopping by and Much Mahalo

Tupelo Designs LLC DT Project using Alte New Stamp set

Alte 1

Alte 2

Aloha Guys!

Today I made a card for The Tupelo Designs LLC’s DT Project using the New Alte New Stamp set, Painted Butterflies.  This is a very Beautiful stamp set that basically does all the work for you.  This is also a 3 Step stamp set which means there’s different layers that can go on top of each other to create this multi colored painted look.  This is a very popular set so it might be sold out but at Tupelo Designs LLC, you can Pre-order them so you’ll have yours as soon as it becomes available.  And you know how Fast Their shipping is, Amazing!  I’m also using another New stamp set from Impressions Obsessions which also can be Pre-ordered.  It’s a distress brick wall, and it has so much texture, it’s really cool.  I’m using a lot of New products today, I might as well play with them all at once, right?  Lol

For my card base, I have a top folding A2 size card stock which is Neenah, by the way.  I also cut another white card stock measuring 4″x%5 1/4″ and another cut using the MFT’s stitched rectangle die.  I’m going to make my own background paper using the Obsessions Impression’s Background stamp inked up with Tim Holtz distress mini ink pad.  I do have the whole collection of the full size ink pads which I still use, but sometimes the little ones are just easier.  I stamped out the brick wall and put it aside and will work on our focal panel.  I stamped out the Thank you sentiment using the same Alte New stamp set and I stamped out one of the butterflies using the New Cracked Pistachio and Peacock feathers.  The 2nd butterfly was stamped using the New Abandoned coral and Festive berries.  I also stamped out a small butterfly using the same abandoned coral.  After doing so, I attached some Cartwright Moonshine sequins and added some Wink of Stella clear pens on the butterflies for the finishing touch.  It’s super easy and simple but it looks like you took a while to make this card.  I do have a full tutorial on my Youtube Channel with more description of this 3 step stamping.  I hope you enjoyed this cad and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thank you, and Mahalo:)

Hero Arts Snow Globe Shaker Card

IMG_7352.JPG

IMG_7353.JPG

IMG_7354.JPG

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing another Christmas Shaker Card using the Hero Arts Christmas Raindeers stamp set. I love this raindeer so much, he’s so cute. I use him over and over every year. I can’t find this stamp set in stores so I’m not sure if it’s discontinued or not but I stamped and colored him using my Copic markers, I used the MFT’s stitched circle die to cut a circle in the center for my snow globe and also cut an acetate the same size as the card front to cover the circle for my shaker portion. I also cut 2 snow banks using the Lawn Fawns stitched hillside borders and covered a little bit of the bottom portion of the circle. For the center of the snow globe, I stamped the tree landscape using the Stampin Ups white Christmas stamp set to create the snow scene for my snow globe. I used foam adhesive all along the outer edges of the circle and fill it with some white iridescent and clear sequins and some silver chunky glitter. I put foam adhesive on the raindeer and the snow bank and attached it on top of the snow globe. I tied a bow using some white and red polka dot ribbon and placed it at the bottom of the snow bank. I stamped the Merry Christmas banner on the inside of the snow globe so it’ll be peeking through the snow globe. I hope you like this video and for full tutorial for this card, please check out my YouTube channel. Thank you so much and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas. Thanks again, much Mahalo

Gerda Steiner Designs-December Challenge Pop Up Card

IMG_7343.JPG

IMG_7345.JPG

IMG_7346.JPG

Aloha Guys!

Today I made a card for the Gerda Steiner Designs December Challenge, which is to either use this Angel with lights or the Angel with the Merry Christmas Banner.  This is part of Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenges  where is you purchase either her Rubber stamps or her Digital image and participate in her monthly challenge she’ll send you a FREE stamp for the next months challenge.  So it can go on and on, as long as you participate.  FREE Digital image!! Awesome!!  I have all the links below if you want to check that out.  Anyways, today I decided to make a Pop up card since I haven’t made on in awhile.  I’m using a Stampin Up pop up card die that is discontinued I don’t know why, this die was amazing.  It does the whole work for you and it’s so easy to make a very easy pop up card.  I printed this Angel with the Lights, I printed both but I’ll be using only one today.  I colored her with my Copic Markers and die cut a Stitched Rectangle out of Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangle die and I also cut a DSP and a Vellum with the same rectangle die.  I wanted to mute the background paper a bit with vellum because I wanted the her to really Pop.  I stamped out a sentiment in 2 colors using Stampin Up Joy to the world stamp and I popped up this panel using foam adhesive.  For my Pop up in the inside, I cut out the same shape that matched up with the pop up prtion and used Festival of Trees stamp set from Stampin Up with Mossy meadow.  I used Real Red for the little dots that go inside the trees.  I stamped out the 3rd tree using the same ink and cut it out and put red, yellow and green rhinestones as the lights for the tree and put it between the 2 trees.  This finishes off my card for today and I have a Full tutorial on how I made this on my Youtube Channel if you like to check that out.  Thank you so much for visiting and don’t forget to subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Also, check out the links below for supply list.  Thank you and Much Mahalo
