Aloha Guys!
Today I’m making a card for the Lawnscaping Challenge, which is to use Sentiments. I wanted to use the Faber-Castell Metallic pencils on black card stock, so that the metallic will show up better. I went ahead and stamped one of the sentiments from the Lawn Fawn’s Chitchat stamp set and embossed it using white embossing powder. I then colored in the speech bubble randomly using 4 of the metallic pencils. I used Gold, Silver, Pink, and Blue. I think the metallic shows up really nicely on Black card stock. These pencils are not water-soluble like the Derwent metallic pencils. I believe these are wax based. These are student grade pencils and I think they don’t have as much metallic as the Derwent but it’s ok for techniques like this. No blending but just coloring in the image.
