IMG_8238

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing a card I made for Gerda Steiner Designs Brand New Clear Stamp set Playful Kitten.  Aren’t these kitties sooo Adorable!! I love them so much so I couldn’t decide which ones to use first.  I finally decided to use the kitty in the suitcase. I stamped it out on a SU’s Design paper and fussy cut it out.  I stamped out another one on a Neenah solar white card stock so that I may color the kitty using my Copic Markers.  I wanted this kitty to have a dark grey stripes so I used W9, W5, W3.  After coloring the image I then fussy cut them out.  For the suitcase, I added some color using the Vintage photo distress ink pad and added foam adhesive on it as well.  I used another SU’s design paper and used the MFT’s fishtail die and adhered it to a brown card stock from my stash.  I wanted this to look like a luggage tag and stamped a cute sentiment that says “Meow you doing”  I embellished the metal on the suitcase using my Gold Sakura belly roll pen along with Ranger black enamel accents.  I do have a Full tutorial on this card so go ahead and check it out.  Also, all the links to the supplies I used will be will be located below for your convenience.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you guys next time.  Thank you

Gerda Steiner Designs Penny Slider Card

Gerda Slider 1

Gerda Slider 2

Aloha Guys!

Today I’ve made a card using Gerda Steiner Designs Roller Skating Bunny.  I’ll put the link below if you’d like to check it out.  He is super Cute!! As soon as I saw him, I knew I wanted to make a Slider card.  I’ve made a standard A2 size card and I cut a Silver Shimmery card stock at 4 1/4″x5 1/2″ to cover the entire card front.  I also cut a black Bazzil card stick at 4×5 1/4″ and a Chevron design paper at 3 3/4″x5″.  I printed the bunny out on Neenah Solar White card stock and colored the bunny using my Copic Markers.

Bunny: W5, W3, W1, R20

Roller Skates: R39, R29

Cupcakes: Y39, Y17, R85, R83, R39, R29

I used 2 penny’s and adhered 2 Semi-round Dimentionals in between the 2 penny’s.  This will be out sliding portion.  I used a Stampin Up’s punch to create a slit towards the bottom of the chevron card stock.  I attached the design paper to the black card stock first before punching.  You can create a slit with a craft knife or a paper trimmer as well.  I stuck the doubled penny in the slit to see how it moved and I punched a little more at the top of the slit to help it move a little more.  I attached the bunny to the penny using my hot glue gun because I wanted it to really stick on to the penny.  Because the bunny was longer, it was going all over the place so I attached a little pull tab using the same punch with black card stock.  You pull the tab back and forth and it slides like he’s skating.  I embossed a sentiment in white embossing powder on a 1/2″ black card stock and stuck it on the top.  This finishes my card, and I do have a Full Tutorial on my Youtube channel if you’d like to check that out.  Thank you so much for visiting and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks and much Mahalo.

Gerda Easter chick

IMG_7629

Aloha Guys!  Today I’m sharing with you this Super adorable Chick standing on this Pile of Easter eggs by Gerda Steiner Designs.  This Chick is so cute and I had a lot of fun working with this.  I put the Chick on a DIY Action Wobble and I have a tutorial on this which I made a while back.  I’ll put a link below if yo want to check that out.  This is a digital image and I printed this out 2x so that I can pop up the Chick on the wobble so it has movement.  I cut out this panel that I printed using the MFT Stitched Rectangle die and also cut out a black card stock with a larger die so I can have a mating for my Chick.  I colored this image using my Cpoic Markers and gave him a Basket full of Easter eggs that I stamped out with one of an older Stampin Up Collection.  It just happened to fit the size perfectly for my Chick. I also cut couple pieces of green card stock using the Lawn Fawn’s Grass border die and put it at the bottom for grass.  I also used My Hero Arts Tiny Flag die to make my own Design paper for my front panel as well.  I do have a full tutorial on how I made the card on my Youtube Channel if you’d like to check that out.  Before you know it, it’ll be Easter so why not start a little early so you won’t have to hurry at the last minute:)  I’ll be making some treat bags and Goodies for the teachers for my kids soon so stay tuned for those.  Thank you so much and I hope you like this card and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  I have the supply list below if you’re interested in the products I used today.  Thank you and Mahalo:)

Balloon Shaker Card using Gerda Steiner Designs 3 Monsters

2015/02/img_7568.jpg

2015/02/img_7569.jpg

Aloha Guy!

Today I want to share this Balloon shaped card that’s also a Shaker card. I haven’t made a shaped card in a while so this was kind of fun. On top of that, I absolutely Love these Monster!!! This is a Digital image and the set has All 3 Monsters, I’ll leave a link below if you want to check it our.  First I made my Balloon Card base using Simon Says Stamp’s Balloon Die.  This die set has multiple sets of Balloons in it so the set is very versatile.  I then cut another balloon using the same size as my base for my card front, using watercolor paper.  I used that piece and cut out 3 circles using the SSS In Stitches circle die.  This has stitching on both the negative and the positive side so my circles that I cut has stitching on it, which is pretty cool.  I also used the same dies to cut myself an Acetate and some foam which I’ll use for the shaker portion.

I printed All 3 Monsters onto a Neenah Solar White paper and I couldn’t decide which one to use so I decided to used all 3.  I colored the monsters using my Copic markers.  I used the Inktense Pencils on the watercolor paper to add some color to the Balloon panel.  I used 3 different colors for the 3 circles and then used a brush and water to liquify the colors.  I tried to match the hole to the color of the monsters.  I then used the Peacock Feathers on the rest of the balloon. I attached the acetate to the front balloon and attached the foam.  In the circles I added some small seed beads, I didn’t add to much because I didn’t want to cover up the monsters.  I added some bakers twine bow at the knot of the balloon, and put a Happy Birthday sentiment.  I do have a Full Tutorial on how I made this card on my Youtube Channel, if you’d like to check that out.  Thank you so much for watching and Please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again, Mahalo

NNDIPC_16_ChristmasIMG_7377.JPG

IMG_7378.JPG

Aloha guys!
Today I’m sharing a card j made for the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge #16 Christmas Themed Card.  I used the Christmas Delivery stamp set for this card.  I stamped out the image and cut it using the MFT’s Stitched circle die.  I cut 4 pieces of card stock measuring 3 3/4″x5″ and cut the circle in the middle to make my shaker ornament and attached them all together to create a dimensional circle.   I then cut another one measuring the same with Design Paper.  This is form the American Crafts Christmas collection paper pad and cut a circle matching the others.  I colored the image using my Copic Markers.  I attached the stamp piece lining it up on the inner circle and attached it to a red card stock measuring 4″x5 1/4″.   I attached the dimensional piece and poured in some seed beads and put the design paper on top  to create my shaker.  I used a gold ribbon I cut using my Cricut and attached it to the top of he circle to make it look like an ornament.  I hope you like this card, and for full tutorial on how i made this card, please visit my youtube channel.  Also, please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks and Much Mahalo:)

Gerda Steiner Designs-December Challenge Pop Up Card

IMG_7343.JPG

IMG_7345.JPG

IMG_7346.JPG

Aloha Guys!

Today I made a card for the Gerda Steiner Designs December Challenge, which is to either use this Angel with lights or the Angel with the Merry Christmas Banner.  This is part of Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenges  where is you purchase either her Rubber stamps or her Digital image and participate in her monthly challenge she’ll send you a FREE stamp for the next months challenge.  So it can go on and on, as long as you participate.  FREE Digital image!! Awesome!!  I have all the links below if you want to check that out.  Anyways, today I decided to make a Pop up card since I haven’t made on in awhile.  I’m using a Stampin Up pop up card die that is discontinued I don’t know why, this die was amazing.  It does the whole work for you and it’s so easy to make a very easy pop up card.  I printed this Angel with the Lights, I printed both but I’ll be using only one today.  I colored her with my Copic Markers and die cut a Stitched Rectangle out of Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangle die and I also cut a DSP and a Vellum with the same rectangle die.  I wanted to mute the background paper a bit with vellum because I wanted the her to really Pop.  I stamped out a sentiment in 2 colors using Stampin Up Joy to the world stamp and I popped up this panel using foam adhesive.  For my Pop up in the inside, I cut out the same shape that matched up with the pop up prtion and used Festival of Trees stamp set from Stampin Up with Mossy meadow.  I used Real Red for the little dots that go inside the trees.  I stamped out the 3rd tree using the same ink and cut it out and put red, yellow and green rhinestones as the lights for the tree and put it between the 2 trees.  This finishes off my card for today and I have a Full tutorial on how I made this on my Youtube Channel if you like to check that out.  Thank you so much for visiting and don’t forget to subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Also, check out the links below for supply list.  Thank you and Much Mahalo
