Using The Right Card Stock For Easy Elegant Cards

Hi Guys!

Today I’m making some Quick Elegant Christmas cards. I also want to explain little about the different cards stocks that’s available, helping us to make the cards fast and nice 🙂 If you’re like me, I like to make as many nice cards as possible without spending too much time on them and sometimes the card stocks that you have makes this task a little easier. Merry Christmas Everyone! I want to add my last Christmas card for 2015, using Gerda Steiner Designs Peekin Friends as well as card stocks from PaperTemptress. These Mica Metallic card stocks were used in many of the card sets I’ve made for Christmas gifts. It gives that perfect balance of elegance to the cards, with a Wow effect :). Double Pocket Gift Card Holder using Envelopes-Tupelo Designs LLC

Today I’m making some Gift card holders.  I always have some of these Gift card holders, that I use for birthday’s or any occasion throughout the year.  This Gift card holder has 2 pockets that we created using just plain white envelopes.  I’ve used some patterned paper here but you can use background stamps and other stamps to create your own patterned paper. Score at 3″ and 6″

Black card stocks 4 1/2″x2 3/4″ and 2″x3 1/4″

Design Paper 4 1/4″x2 1/2″ and 1 3/4″x3″

Sentiment Pannel 1 1/2″x2 3/4″

Envelope cut at 2 3/4″ (Cut the side that doesn’t have a fold)

You can change the sizes, depending on your design 🙂

4 Christmas Tags with Added Shimmer

Today I have 4 Christmas tags for you using Gerda Steiner Designs Snowman Friends and Deck the Halls stamp set.  The card stocks I’ve used are from PaperTemptress.  I made my tag out of a Neenah Desert storm card stock.  I added the snow banks using the Mica metallic card stocks and some vellum to create more interest.  I’ve made a snow background for my snowmen.  I’ve colored the snowmen with some Faber-Castell Designs Memory Crafts Art grip aquarelle pencils.  I hope you enjoyed these tags and if you did, please like, comment and subscribe.  I appreciate you stopping by and I’ll see you next time.  Thanks again 🙂

Simple Elegant Christmas Card Set

Today I’ll be making a Simple elegant Christmas card set using PaperTemtress’s fantastic card stocks.  The parchment White vellum, reminded me of snow.  It’s absolutely gorgeous!!  I’ve used some Stampin Up stamp sets and embossed this Christmas tree, using silver sparkly embossing powder.  You can’t really see the vellum on the picture, but you’ll be able to see it a lot better on video.  I love the way it turned out and I hope you like them too.  I thank you guys so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it.  Thanks again 🙂

Teachers Goodie Bags with Shaker Tags

Today I’m sharing what I made for my kids teachers. This week is their last day of school so I had to make this today. I made the bags using the Gift bag punch board and made an ornanent shaker card. I did make a video on the shaker tag and I’ll be posting it couple of days.  I’ve been sick for the past 2 days and I didn’t have anything done for the teachers.  Good thing I have lots of cards pre-made so I just decorated the bag and attach the tags.  I think it came out cute, but it’s definitely not my best work.  I hope they like this gift.  I hope you guys like this idea and please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again!

Inky Paws Challenge #16 Christmas Theme

Aloha guys!
Today I’m sharing a card j made for the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge #16 Christmas Themed Card.  I used the Christmas Delivery stamp set for this card.  I stamped out the image and cut it using the MFT’s Stitched circle die.  I cut 4 pieces of card stock measuring 3 3/4″x5″ and cut the circle in the middle to make my shaker ornament and attached them all together to create a dimensional circle.   I then cut another one measuring the same with Design Paper.  This is form the American Crafts Christmas collection paper pad and cut a circle matching the others.  I colored the image using my Copic Markers.  I attached the stamp piece lining it up on the inner circle and attached it to a red card stock measuring 4″x5 1/4″.   I attached the dimensional piece and poured in some seed beads and put the design paper on top  to create my shaker.  I used a gold ribbon I cut using my Cricut and attached it to the top of he circle to make it look like an ornament.  I hope you like this card, and for full tutorial on how i made this card, please visit my youtube channel.  Also, please subscribe for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks and Much Mahalo:)

Holiday Anya 2 One Layer Card

Aloha Guy!

Today I’m sharing this One Layered card made using The Greeting Farms Holiday Anya. I used the 120 lb Simon Says Stamp paper so my copic markers don’t bleed through. I am in Love with this paper. The possibilities are endless. I stamped the Holiday Anya using Momento Tuxedo black ink and colored her using my copic markers. I also stamped her out on masking paper so I can stamp snow flakes all around her. I used the Ranger’s Sparkle gold embossing powder on the snow flakes.
