CAS Card Using PaperTemptress’s Card stock

Aloha Guys!

Today I have another CAS (Clean and Simple) card for you using PaperTemptress card stocks. I have this image that I colored using the Heavenly White 120#, which I have a tutorial for. I’ll leave the link below if you want to check it out. I mentioned before that this card stock does not bleed though the back, so it’s perfect for those one layered cards, using your alcohol markers.  I kept this card pretty simple, because I wanted to use the Pink Ice Parchment paper.   I didn’t want to cover up too much of the card stock, since it has this unique design and color to it.  I back it with the Hot fudge card stock, I love the pink and the fudge.  I’m also using the Ski blue stripe vellum to emboss my sentiment.  I thought the light blue matched perfectly with this color combination.  I stamped the sentiment out with versa fine onyx, so I can emboss it using my clear embossing powder.  This vellum has a great weight to it, so it didn’t even warp as I was heating up the sentiment.  I added some details with some sequins, black belly roll pen and my Signo white gel pen.  Pretty simple but I really liked how it turned out.  I hope you enjoyed this card and there’s still a GIVEAWAY going on right now, so scroll down to check that out.  I may be choosing 1 additional winner, since Patricia from PaperTemptress was generous enough to donate 2 paper packs.  Yay!!  More the prize the better, right?  So don’t forget to subscribe to me Youtube channel and leave me a comment to be entered in the drawing 🙂  Check out the PaperTemptress’s Blog to see all the Design team’s inspirations.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you next time 🙂

CAS Card Sets using Wplus9-Tupelo Designs LLC

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making some cards for Tupelo Designs LLC.  With the Holiday’s approaching, I’ll be making many sets of Cards so that I can give them as gifts.  You’ll be seeing many more of these, that’s for sure.  I decide to make a set of 4 and I made my own background paper using the Penny Black’s Blips background stamp with Rangers Dye inks.  Rangers Dye inks are very bright and I love the colors they offer.  I thought it would be fun to make different color backgrounds with the same stamped image.  When you are mass producing cards, it’s easier to do it in assembly style.  I first prepared all the card stocks that I’ll be using: 4 card bases (110lb Neenah), 4 black mats, 4 background paper, etc….

I’m using the Wplus9 stamp set, Wishing you and I chose out the 2 bunnies that has the back toward us. I stamped out 4 of them in a 2 1/2″ circle and colored them using my Copic Markers.  This is going to be very clean and simple.  It’s best to keep it that way, so that you can create these cards pretty fast.  I then assembled everything together.  I did not put a sentiment to these cards, because I like to add them later, depending on who I’m giving these too.  You can also stamp multiple sentiments on a separate piece and give them together.  Then they can choose which sentiment they want to use, and just attach it to the card.  I hope you like this clean and simple card set and I thank you guys so much for stopping by.  Be sure to subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  All the supplies I used will be located below, if you’re interested in any of the supplies I used today.  Thanks again and I’ll catch you guys next time.

Make It Crafty Clean and Simple Design Team Call

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a card for Make It Crafty’s Clean and Simple DT Call.  If you’ve been following me on Instagram and Facebook, you’ve seen that I’ve been obsessed with Make it Crafty’s images.  I colored the Characters when I did a Product focus on the Spectrum Noirs and I love coloring the Flower set that has the Beautiful Rose.  I love coloring and I’m in love with MIC’s images, I want to buy them all, lol

For my card today, I’m using their Newest Release of Spring Flower set.  I fell in love with the Cherry Blossom as soon as I saw them and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.  If you purchase the set which includes 4 flowers, you automatically get 15% off which is super good deal.  That’s what I bought, but you can definitely purchase them individually.

I printed the Cherry Blossom out on Strathmore 80lb. watercolor paper and cut the image out of Mama Elephant’s Femme Frame die.  I also cut a black Bazzil card using the same die but I used the Scallop one.  My card base today is Neenah Desert Storm 100lb.  I printed several of these flowers and I colored them using Tim Holtz Distress markers using a Stampin up blender pen.  You can use any blender pen you have, you can even use a water brush ins tread.  In my opinion, the blender pen gives more control and this is perfect since the background is going to be very loose.  After coloring some of the Cherry blossom and I fussy cut them out to give more dimension to my front panel.

For my background, I used the Cracked Pistachio and Peacock feathers and made a very loose background for my Flowers.  I also put Picked Raspberry on all the flowers with lots of water so it’ll kind of ooze out and blend with the background I created.  I rally love this loose watercoloring!  For the sentiment, I used a stampin up’s stamp set and I embossed it using Versafine Onxy pigment ink with clear embossing powder.  These Flowers DO Come with Sentiments so you can use those if yo like.

I attached everything together and added some Pretty Pink Posh Clear sequins in different sizes.  I also put some clear Wink of stella and put Glossy accents on the popped up Cherry Blossoms.  This finishes my card for today and I hope you enjoyed.  All the supplies I used in this card will be located below, for your convenience.  I’m Crossing My Fingers!!!  I would LOVE to be one of their DT members!!!  This will be such a great experience and if I don’t get Chosen, that’s Ok too.  I’ll still be enjoying her images:)  Thank you so much and Much Mahalo!
