Today I’m sharing my project fo Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. This was my March DT Project and I haven’t posted it yet so I thought this was the perfect time, since I haven’t been able to make any videos due to my Health condition 😦 Hopefully I’ll recover fast and will be able to see you guys back shortly. I’ve been bed ridden for the past week and I am still unable to move around, which is very frustrating. It’s nothing serious but it’s just the side effects from my past 2 major surgeries. It’s a pain in the butt, UGH!! I’m currently in a lot of pain so it’s really hard to move around as freely as I want. Good thing I have some videos I have in my archives, so you guys will have something to watch in the meantime 😉 I miss you guys all and hopefully I’ll see you back real soon. Today I am here with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft® and I’ll be doing some No-line watercoloring using Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils. It was difficult to show the entire coloring process, since it was extremely hard to see the lines. These pencils are very vibrant, and vivid. Once they are compelety dried, they are permeant, waterproof, and lightfast. I’ll have all the colors and the color family not the Design Memory Craft’s blog below. Today I have a super easy watercolor technique for you from Tupelo Designs LLC. I feel like I haven’t used these Ganzai Tambi watercolor paint set so I’d thought I would use this for my watercoloring today. I’m also using this Altenew stamp set and I’ve used the Ranger’s liquid platinum embossing powders to emboss the florals. This watercoloring is super easy and fast. You’ll get this beautiful results without doing much to it.
These watercolor paints are very highly pigmented watercolors with intense colors and a little goes a long way. It’s a good paint set to have in your stash and Tupelo Designs LLC has them in stock if you want to grab yourself one.
Today I’m making a Christmas card set for Tupelo Designs LLC. I’ve used the Bird Crazy and the Crazy Things stamp sets along with the Prima Watercolor pencils. I’ve purchased the pencils while back, when it first came out from Tupelo Designs LLC and I never got a chance to use them. As you can see in the video, these pencils are Fantastic!! I really love them! It blends beautifully, with vidid colors. I also like the prices for these as well. Very affordable, yet intense colors. Today I’m sharing this card using Gerda Steiner Designs Deck the Halls stamp along with some Neenah Classic Linen card stocks to do some watercoloring with Gelatos®. I’ll be starting a New Gelatos® For Card Makers Series, sharing different ways you can incorporate Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Mix & Match line of products in our card making. I’m starting this series because I’ve heard many people mention, Gelatos® as a Mixed media medium. Gelatos® are such versatile medium that can be used for both mixed media and card making. It’s a fantastic medium and it’s very easy to work with. Hopefully I can share some techniques with different products, to showcase the versatility of them. I’m starting out with my very first Christmas card for 2015. Yeah, I’m a little behind so I better get started, lol.
I’m using this super adorable stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs and I’ll share some tips and techniques on how we can watercolor using a various colors from the Gelatos® line. I’m using these Neenah Classic linen card stocks to do some blending with or without water. These classic linen card stocks are fantastic with watercolors. They are not a watercolor card stocks but they work fabulous with watercoloring and I highly recommend trying them out. I am definitely in Love. They have these great textures to these card stocks and the texture really shows through, even with a coloring medium on top. You’ll definitely see the texture through it as we start the application of colors. i’m using a very traditional Christmas colors and I’ll share some tips on how you can get the Glowing Christmas light look, with watercoloring. I’ll put all the links to the supplies I used below, if you want to try out any of these products. Today I’m doing watercoloring using Distress re-inkers for Tupelo Designs LLC. You can watercolor with any re-inkers you have to stretch your supplies. These re-inkers are so highly concentrated, a little goes a long way. I’ve embossed the image using the Ranger’s super fine embossing powder to help contain the colors in the embossed image. This makes watercoloring a lot easier. Tupelo Designs LLC is undergoing some changes for in order to create a brighter future. Today I’m making a card for Tupelo Designs LLC and I’ll be sharing the Prima water-soluble oil pastels as well as the Hero Arts stamp set. I’ll be using the oil pastels as a watercolor medium and do some very loose watercoloring. These come in a pack of 24 and they are very reasonably priced, so it you’ve never played with these types of mediums, you can try them out. They are like crayons and you can use them in so many different ways and this is just one way to to use them. Today I’m doing a side by side Look at the Zig Clean Color real brush markers vs the Akashiya Sai brush markers. I’ve had some questions regarding the difference between the 2 markers so I’d thought I’d do a side by side comparison. This is not a Review or a Product focus, I just wanted to give you guys the visual if you were curious about these markers. I did a video up above of these markers on a side by side bases. I have not used the Zig markers so this will be my first time playing with these but I have been playing with the Akashiya sai markers for awhile and I have been loving it, which is why I wanted to get the bigger set of the Zig.
