Aloha Guys!

Today I’ll be sharing this card for PaperTemptress’s FB Challenge for November, sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  Ill leave the link for this image in the descriptions below, if you’d like to check it out.  Be sure to check out the PaperTemptress’s FB page and participate in this challenge for a chance to win some awesome prizes.  Each month will have a different theme and the theme for November is No Green and Red colors.  I printed the Cardinal (digital) image, onto some watercolor paper and colored it in using a Blender pen.  I personally love this technique, because you can use your Dye ink pads as watercolor medium.  You can also use them with watercolor pencils and markers.  I colored the Cardinal in a burgundy color, since we can’t use the color red.  I also used the Neenah Natural Linen card stocks from Papertemptress.  This has a fantastic texture and I really wanted to showcase the texture on this card stock using some Brusho’s.  Even though this card stock is not a watercolor paper, it was able to hole up to a lot of water.  Pretty cool!!  Love them ❤  Check out the video, to see the Brushos on the Linen card stock.  I’ll leave the links to both the Papertempress’s FB page as well as The Stamping Boutique.  I hope you’ll join us for this challenge and check out the Papertemptres’s Blog for all the Fabulous Designers inspirations. Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you next time.  Thanks again 🙂

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m sharing this Simple Halloween Post it Note holder for gift giving.  I’ve made these for my daughters Teachers and office staff members.  I’ve made these before in the past and I love this design because it’s a simple design.  I can mass produce them easily, and i love that.  The stamp sets I used are from Gerda Steiner Designs, Monster party and Peeking pumpkin kitten.  Super cute!!  I can’t get enough of the Monster party, super adorable.  I love the versatility of Gerda’s stamps, you can mix and match to meet your needs.  I’ve also used the ribbons from Papertempress, both the Pull Bow ribbon and the sheer multi-color ribbons.  The Pull bow ribbon is Fantastic, because all you need to do is pull and you’ll get this pretty bow.  I’m not the best when it comes to making bows, so this is really convenient.  I colored the Monster using some Faber-Castell Metallic colored Ecopencils because these pencils are shimmery, yet opaque enough to color on top of the Orange Post it Notes.  It glides on the paper and the shimmer is Excellent, just the right amount.  I hope you like this video and please like, subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again 🙂

Creating A Simple Scene using PaperTemptress Card Stocks

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m making a Simple Scene using only Card stock from PaperTemptress and Gerda Steiner Designs Stamps.  When I normally make scenery, I tend to use distress inks to create the scene, but today, I’ll be using the card stocks instead. The Stamp sets I’ll be using are Happy Fall and Monster Party.  I’m using the Cordovan Leather as my frame, I cut it using the MFT’s Horizontal Stitched strips die.  It created 2 panels which I’ll be using to make my scene.  I’m using the Blue Parchment Card stock as my sky, it matches perfectly for the sky because of the color and the texture of it.  I stamped out the small squirrel and colored him using my Copic markers, on Neenah solar white card stock.  I also cut out a sun and some clouds using one of the Lawn fawn dies.  The texture on the paper I used for the sun is amazing, it almost feels like fabric. It’s the Crepe paper and it comes in multiple colors, to meet your needs.  I stamped out my kites on the sky I created and paper pieced them.  I also embossed the sentiment on the Cordovan Leather card stock.  I have a tutorial above for the step by step, on how I made this card.  I hope you enjoyed this card and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again 🙂

How to Color a Pumpkin-Gerda Steiner Designs

Aloha Guys!

Today I’m coloring some pumpkins.  I am using Gerda Steiner Designs Digital Images as well as Happy Fall Clear stamp set.  The pumpkins came from the Halloween cats and more and I also printed the hedgehog with pumpkin.  I resized the pumpkins in 3 different sizes before I printed them out.  That’s the cool thing about digital stamps, you can resize them to fit your needs.  I wanted to create a fall theme so I’m using some textured Ivory card stock and stamped a background using the Impressions and Obsessions  with Kalaidacolor ink pads.  I really like the way the background turned out.  I colored the pumpkin, using my Shinhan Touch twin markers.  I like my pumpkins brownish orange, I think it makes the pumpkins really pop.  I hope you guys enjoyed this and please subscribe and follow for more inspirations and ideas.  Thanks again 🙂
